Teresa Morgan, contemporary fiction author, has been added to Mountain Brook Ink’s roster. Miralee met Teresa a number of years ago when they took part in the same small critique group, where she read and critiqued Teresa’s novel, No Greater Gift. The story impacted Miralee, and she never forgot it. After starting Mountain Brook Ink, she contacted Teresa to see what happened to her novel. Upon discovering it wasn’t under contract, Miralee offered to publish Teresa’s book, and she accepted. In the days of carbon paper and eraser shields, Teresa Morgan worked as secretary to a manager and twenty-one engineers and scientists at the Department of Energy’s Hanford Site. After nearly a decade following her husband’s career around the country, in 1999 Teresa Morgan became an early pioneer in e-publishing writing Romantic Suspense. Her first two books—Satin and Steel and A Risk Worth Taking—received four stars from Romantic Times. She has a Bachelors in Theology from Christian Life School of Theology. She and her husband have two adult children and one granddaughter. Now, she and her husband are empty-nesters and live in Washington State.
