Yvonne lives in the panoramic mountains of western North Carolina with her blond and white Pomeranian named Rigel (after a Titanic dog survivor). Her 50th book, Hearts that Survive–A Novel of the Titanic, was released in time for the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking. She signs the book 3-4 times a year at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge TN and the story is being made into an audio book to be released soon.
In 2004 Yvonne took her fun-daughter and pastor-son to Israel. A trip of a lifetime. Would love to go again. Like walking on the pages of the Bible.
In 2007 her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson took Yvonne to Paris. She “had” to be able to say she climbed those 654 (or so) steps to the top of the Eiffel Tower (stopped to breathe along the way up). Sat in sidewalk cafe’s and to enjoy the Louvre, castles, palaces, etc.
