Starr Ayers is a multi-award-winning author and writer, a third-generation artist, Jesus follower, incurable night owl, java junkie, rainbow chaser, and an avid iPhone photographer who is always on the lookout for the presence of wonder.
She began her writing journey in 2011 and learned the craft through writing devotions. She’s since contributed to two published anthologies and released four split timeline romance novels with Mountain Brook Ink, For the Love of Emma, Emma’s Quest, Waiting for Sunset, and Lavender Tide. Her nonfiction book, Room at the Table: Encouraging Stories from Special Needs Families, co-authored with Stephanie Pavlantos, garnered a 2023 Selah Award.
Starr is active in her church and has led a women’s Bible study in her community since 2003. She resides with her husband, Michael, in North Carolina, and they have two daughters and a son-in-love.
