As a retired flight attendant, KD Holmberg has lived and traveled all over the globe. Her journeys to Egypt and Israel offered her a chance to go back in time and explore the biblical period by walking excavated sites and investigating where these historic events actually took place. It gave her a fresh perspective on what happened during the ancient Egyptian, Mesopotamian, and Canaanite civilizations by looking at them through Middle Eastern eyes. She weaves the history, beauty, and mystery of the Holy Land and its neighbors into her stories.

KD Holmberg is the married mother of five and has eight extraordinary grandchildren. She and her husband, Keith, love to travel and golf, and live upcountry South Carolina in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  They spend as much time as possible with the exceptional eight grands in California, South Dakota, and Iowa.

She is represented by Linda Glaz at Hartline Literary Agency: Linda@Hartlineliterary.com.
