As a child, Karen Higgins absolutely loved to enter imaginary scenes and situations through stories. Fast-forward a couple of decades, and Karen still loves to read, is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and is a homeschool mom to five of the sweetest kids on God’s green earth.
It was during these homeschool years that the dream to write the kind of books she loved to read was born. Stories spined with faith, filled with surprises and struggles, whimsy and warmth.
Fast-forward another decade (or two), and now Karen has served for a number of years as an assistant writing conference director, is the founder and teacher of a teen writing society, and is agented by the Blythe Daniel Agency. Her greatest desire is to bring strength for today and hope for tomorrow to her readers.
