The idea of helping debut authors achieve their dream, multi-published authors resurrecting their out-of-print books or branching into a new genre, and offering a higher royalty rate than larger traditional publishers, was birthed in early 2014.
Who Is Behind Mountain Brook Ink?
Miralee Ferrell, the publisher of Mountain Brook Ink, has over fifteen years of experience in the publishing world as a multi-published, traditional author, winning awards and writing two ECPA Best Sellers. Five of her books are/have been made into TV movies as well. She’s an accredited Christian lay counselor with the AACC, a speaker, conference teacher, author, publisher, wife, mother, and servant of Christ.
What Does Mountain Brook Ink Do?
Mountain Brook Ink is a publisher of high-quality inspirational fiction (excluding children’s fiction) that focuses on restoration and renewal.
We are growing at a steady pace, while asking the Lord to bring the right manuscripts. There is NO charge for an author to publish with us. We only ask that, should we ask for a full manuscript in the review process, you send a reasonably clean manuscript that’s had other eyes on it along the way. Like any publisher, we want to see work this isn’t your first or second draft, since the quality will determine whether or not we offer a contract.
