We wanted to take a break from our usual blog posts to highlight some news from our authors.
Our authors continue to impress us with their growing lists of awards, both with their MBI books and those not published with us. (You can see the list of their MBI awards here.) This year, we have books in the running for some exciting awards.
The Selah Awards
The Selah Awards are presented annually by the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers Conference and awarded for excellence in Christian publishing. Finalists include New York Times bestselling authors and top tier Christian publishers.
Congratulations to our 2021 Selah finalist authors!
For the Love of Emma by Starr Ayers is a Selah 2021 double finalist in First Novel and Historical Romance.
The Damsel’s Intent by Mary Davis is also a Selah finalist in Historical Romance.
We can’t wait to hear the winner results this weekend!
The Realm Awards
The Realm Awards are awarded by Realm Makers, and, according to their website, “recognize the most excellent speculative fiction written by Christian authors published in the previous calendar year.”
The winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet at the Realm Makers conference in mid-July.
Heaven Came Down by Bryan Davis is a finalist for the Realm Makers award in the science fiction category.
Congratulations, Bryan!
The Independent Publisher Book Awards
The Independent Publisher Book Awards “honor the year’s best independently published titles from around the world,” according to their website.
Linda Thompson’s second book, The Mulberry Leaf Whispers, is the gold medalist in Religious Fiction in the Independent Publisher Book Awards!
Linda continues this trend of award-winning from her first book, The Plum Blooms in Winter, which was a Christy Award, Carol Award, and International Book Awards finalist, while winning the OCW Cascade Award in Historical Fiction.
Congratulations to our amazing and talented authors! We’ll be eagerly awaiting the results of the Selahs and Realm Awards.
