Amy K. Rognlie

Dear Readers,

Well-known author Harper Lee once said, “I never expected any sort of success with [To Kill a] ‘Mockingbird’… I sort of hoped someone would like it enough to give me encouragement.” Obviously, Lee’s work was “liked” immensely, becoming a bestseller almost overnight and eventually winning the Pulitzer Prize.

Though I’m certainly no Harper Lee, I want you to know how grateful I am to each one of you who have chosen to read what I write. Your wonderful reviews, kind comments and delight in my characters is very encouraging to me. I’m always particularly gratified when readers share with me that they have received spiritual encouragement or a new revelation of God’s hand at work in their lives through reading my novels.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
So, thank you, friends, from a fellow pilgrim along the Way. I wish you continued joy on your journey.

And a special thank you to the following reviewers:

“An intriguing tale, “Make Haste Slowly” unwinds a mystery as tangled as a yarn ball unraveled by a cat. From managing her life on her own to the complication of three interesting men, a dead or not so dead man, and a neighboring girl disappearing with a stranger, Callie is thrust into living life instead of hiding.

The healing power of God’s love and faithfulness wait to be revealed in Rognlie’s thought-provoking book.”

“WOW! What a book! This is a well written book that will keep guessing till the very end. It is full of mystery, suspense and a little romance. If you are looking for a good, clean Christian fiction book, here it is. Just be warned, once you start reading you won’t be able to put it down.”
